O-EPIC (Oklahoma Employer/Employee Partnership For Insurance Coverage)
The O-EPIC Premium Assistance Program was designed to assist employers and employees with health plan premiums. For a business to be eligible, it must be located in Oklahoma, have 25 or fewer employees, offer an O-EPIC qualified health plan, and contribute at least 25% of eligible employees premium costs. For an employee to be eligible, he/she must agree to participate in the employer’s qualified health plan, be an Oklahoma resident and US citizen, have a gross annual household income at or below 185 percent of the Federal Poverty Level, and contribute at most 15% of monthly premium costs. Children on SoonerCare are not eligible for O-EPIC. To view eligibility requirements for SoonerCare, click here. Participation in this program is voluntary, and employers must first apply and receive acceptance before employees can apply.
